Add 193 Horsepower. This 20th Anniversary Black Finish Vortech Supercharger System is a self-lubricating supercharger that will provide significant increases in power and torque for 2011-2014 Manual GT Mustang equipped with the Coyote 5.0L engine. The Vortech System is a centrifugal (or compressor) style Supercharger that forces more air into the engine for better engine performance. Providing 7-8 PSI of boost translates to 605 horsepower and 473-lb./ft. of torque, this Supercharger will provide an impressive punch for Coyote-powered Ponys. With its Limited Edition 20th Anniversary Black finish, the Vortech SuperCharger will also provide a nice aesthetic under the hood.
Self-Lubricating Superchager. This complete Supercharger Kit features Vortech’s V-3 Supercharger Head Unit. This is a self-lubricating system that also includes an oil draining extension for easier servicing and is fairly quiet due to its helical cut gears. It is capable of up to 26 PSI (with proper pulley) with a 78% efficiency, ensuring more net power and better durability. All other required parts are included with this system: Air to Air Inter Cooler, High Flow Fuel Injectors, a High-flow intake elbow, 98mm I.D. MAF housing configured for “blow-through” use and a SCT SF3 Tuner to re-flash the factory ECM
Mechanical Expertise Required. The installation of the Vortech Supercharger system will require some mechanical know-how as well as a full toolbox and a minimum of a full day to complete. Dependant on experience, professional installation may be required. An SCT Flash tuner is included to reprogram the PCM in order to work with the supercharger.
