Tracking scattered storms on Fourth of July

Widely scattered storms will be around through early evening, with the best chance west of I-95. Due to the muggy air, heavy downpours will occur in storms that do develop. There is a marginal risk (level 1 out of 5) for severe storms, mostly from the Richmond area and points north and west. This means a few isolated storms could have strong gusts. Rain chances will diminish by late evening.
