These are my top 8
These are my top 8 favorite Romance Animes SO FAR. I decided to make a little mash up of some of the central couples from my favorites with the anime's opening sequences. I will probably make another one if new ones make the list. THESE ARE IN MY OPINION. So if you think I screwed up the order or something, I'm sorry but... this is my video, not yours. If you guys have any suggestions of what to watch next, please let me know! :)
Sucky Summaries
Bakura ga Ita- Nana enters high school and quickly becomes fascinated with Yano, a popular boy with a tragic past.
Special A- Hikari is a part of a exclusive, advanced group in her school called, "Special A". They are the seven most gifted students in all the school. Hikari has always dreamed of being #1 in the group but has always placed second to Kei, who she is determined to beat.
Ouran High School Host Club- Haruhi is a lot more different then the others students at her privet high school. She attends on a scholarship and studies hard while others like to spend their time hanging around in the tea room with the most desirable boys in the whole school. One day a big mix-occurs and Haruhi--who has always been mistaken for a boy because of her short hair--becomes one of these "desirable" boys.
Chihayafuru- Chihaya's passion is Karuta, an old Japanese card game that was taught to her by Arata, an outsider, when she is very young. Soon she and Arata form a little karuta playing group, they are soon joined by Taichi who is hopelessly in love with Chihaya and is threatened by the other boy.
Fruits Basket- Tohru is an orphan who used to live in a tent before she was taken in by the Sohmas, a mysterious family with a magical curse placed upon them. Tohru's life is soon turned upside-down and is caught between the affections of two rivals, Kyo and Yuki Sohma.
Lovely Complex- Boys have always felt intimated by Risa, who is 170 cm and towers over most of the guys in her grade. Which includes Otani, who at 156 cm is below average hight. However the two soon develop a friendship and as time goes on Risa realizes that they just might be perfect for each other.
Kaichou wa Maidd-sama- Misaki is a hardcore feminist and a very hard worker. She is the president of her school and strives for equal treatment of all students--especially girls, who have always been discriminated against because the school used to be "boys only. But Misaki, who always seems to have it together harbors a secret.She works as a maid at a cafe, which is completely degrading and Usui is the only one who knows. Will he keep her secret?
Kimi ni Todoke- Sawako has always been an outsider because of her appearance and similarities between her and the famous character, "Sadako" from the well-known Japanese TV series, "The Ring". She never had any friends and is constantly trying to please the people around her but no one ever lets her in. That until Kazehaya, the most popular guy in school falls for her and everything changes.
