May 24, 2004 - In a contest best remembered for an NBA-record 26 blocked shots (including Tayshaun Prince's famous chasedown rejection of Reggie Miller), Detroit Pistons guard Richard Hamilton distanced himself from the pack, scoring a game-high 23 points in his team's 72-67 Eastern Conference Finals Game 2 win over the Indiana Pacers. Hamilton, the game's only player to shoot better than 50 percent from the field (.571), averaged 23.7 points per game in a six-game series win. No other player averaged more than 17.3.
