Gavin started his "Small Advantages"
Gavin started his "Small Advantages" YouTube channel a couple years back as a hobby, which helps Portugese speakers learn English. Since then, it has blown it up into something big enough to let him quit his real job.
Since a similar thing happened to my own "Mr. Money Mustache" blog a few years ago (even though I had already quit working earlier), we decided to talk about building a following and sharing the numbers behind how views can translate to MONEY.

p.s. Apologies for my beginner tech skills here - I got the nice camera going, but obviously it should have been on a higher tripod. And we could have used some closer directional microphones as well. It's all some good learning and it is fun to gradually figure this stuff out. I might even do more videos!
