I think I had to boot Windows 7 with bootcamp, then switch to a windows 8 cd to install 8. Updated to 8.1 then updated to 10. It was an enjoyable process revisiting 8 and 8.1. I’m doing a 10 year update video this summer.

Modern Macs can just install Windows 10 in boot amp with ease.
