In our 2nd episode of Money Talks, we talked to America's fastest growing restaurant Faka's Island Grill ran by David Pese. We dove into how he managed to start his 1st restaurant through the trials and tribulations one must go through. As the restaurant began to grow so did the merchandise. David talks about how his target market started off as islanders, but quickly changed to multiple markets, with caucasians and asians becoming primary customers. While David talked about his story, he also mentioned how Stussy, a local brand originally from Orange County, CA inspired his taste and continues to rock it past his youth. This interview is a tell story of how one can start from nothing and end up with a striving brand and restaurant.
