Are you getting an error message on your laptop or desktop computer about not being able to make changes to the BIOS? Does the computer want you to enter a password before it will even boot? Have you forgotten your BIOS password?

I'll show you what might be causing the problem that you are encountering with your BIOS. I'll even help you resolve the problem, so that you can make changes to your BIOS or boot your computer and remove the pesky BIOS Admin error message. That way you can boot your computer or make changes to your BIOS without it asking you any more.

I created this tutorial with a Dell Precision M6800. The error message I received was because of a BIOS Admin Password that was set on the Dell Laptop. These steps should work on any laptop or desktop computer. If you encounter any problems or have any questions, please let me know in the comments and I will be glad to help you.

I have included a list of as many manufacturers key commands to get into the BIOS on various computers as I was able to find. If you need another BIOS key command and it is not listed below, please send me a comment and I will help you find it. Thanks 😊
