This song explains the prayer and desire of my heart that I may be refined and consumed by God. The lyrics of this song are sometimes hard for me to digest because the process of refining is ongoing and is filled with trials and tribulations. Oftentimes, we believe that hardships are a sign that God has abandon us which is far from the truth. Although God will never tempt us to sin (James 1 Vs 13), He will, however, test our faith to teach us lessons, reveal himself, and help us grow as mature Christians.
