Japanese Street Food: Giant Sea Snail (Yakogai)

Yakogai - giant sea nail is one of Okinawa's most famous dishes. Here prepared in two ways: as Sashimi and fried with onions and garlic. Fried Yakogai is slightly chewy but still nice to eat, the texture reminds a bit of fried mushrooms, the Sashimi is tender and crisp at the same time.
