Israel retaliates against rocket attacks from Syria

The Israeli air force has struck Syria in a retaliatory assault for rocket attacks in northern Israel's upper Galilee, near the border with Lebanon.

Israel fired missiles into the Quneitra area in the Syrian Golan Heights.

No casualties have been reported as a result of either attack.
