[Low Intermediate] How to fold
[Low Intermediate] How to fold a square of paper into a stellated octahedron ball that squishes flat in three different directions.
You can try to keep it up in the air by batting with your hands as I show in the intro and outro. If you find that the flaps come out you might want to add some glue into the same pockets where the flaps are inserted. That way it will work a lot more reliably, but I didn't do that because I try to stay away from using glue in origami. I did use a tiny piece of tape to reenforce the center point.
