Here are three of the best mtb trails in Finale Ligure Italy that thousands of riders come to ride. If you are planning a mtb holiday here then don't miss these. Many guides or tours will recommend these trails and some are off the main busy track so in good condition!

Neanderthal was used many times in the Enduro World Series as with a lot of mtb trails in the Finale Ligure region. Ingenere is a 6km long trail that is packed full of everything. It starts from near the top of Base Nato as a flow trail with berms and jumps then gets more technical as it descends with rock gardens and drops. All drops are optional as there are plenty of different lines to choose.
Ingenere trail ends above Orco Feglino and you can easily pedal up from here to access Pino Morto / Legnaia trail which is our all time favourite. Fast, rough and rocky. This one was also recommended by locals. After descending this trail you can pedal along some singletrack to access the Neandertal trail (just below the top section). This one is more awkward and technical, finishing with some steep switchbacks.
This vlog brings you 4k POV footage on Go Pro Hero 8 and 9 Black. All trails were accessed by taking a single shuttle from Finale Bikers and a small amount of pedalling. We both ride full suspension 170mm enduro bikes.
