Rebuilding $10 ENVY Scooter ! | Pt. 1- Bars

Today is the first day that I take action on the $10 ENVY Scooter Rebuilding process! Step one to this is repainting the bars on the scooter. The bars that are on this scooter are the Max Peters signature bars and it was probably one of the first ever signature scooter bars on the market. The bars started as a deep purple color and I did think about going to a different color like a bright blue, but we ended up deciding to keep the scooter as original looking as possible. So, we stuck with the purple. The process that we used to color the bars was powder coating. I didn't want to do a normal spray paint finish because I know that will fade quickly as opposed to lasting a really long time like a powder coat finish will. The next step to this build is going to see if I can re anodize the scooter deck, the clamp and possibly the scooter fork. If I can get all those done at a decent price I will be thrilled!
