Mayor of London Sadiq Khan hosted a roundtable with representatives from the Metropolitan Police and the Home Office, along with leaders from mosques and various organisations at the Muslim Cultural and Heritage Centre Al Manar in West London.
The meeting focused on discussing practical measures to ensure the safety of mosques and Islamic schools.
Khan expressed his appreciation for the government's response, emphasising that they have made it clear that law and order will be upheld.
To date, more than 1,000 arrests have been made in connection with the recent violent disorder, with nearly 600 individuals charged.
