The Electro Voice (EV) RE20 is widely considered to be the arch-enemy of the Shure SM7B, but in my opinion offers lots of advantages when compared to the Shure! The RE20 is also noted for having a very "condenser" like sound for a dynamic microphone, so lets compare it to a Rode NT1 in our voiceover test :) I hope this microphone review helps you decide if the EV RE20 is suited for your podcast set up, voiceover set up, or any number of other things it great at.
