Massive huntsman spider moults its skin on camera

Skin crawling footage shows a huntsman spider moulting.

Martin French filmed the deadly spider – which has a wingspan of 7cm – as it finished the process of shedding its old skin.

As the previous darker layers were removed, brand new skin that almost looks cream, appeared underneath.

Martin lets the spiders roam free in his breeding sheds in Norwich, Norfolk.
