In Discrete Calculus, given a sequence p_n (n=0,1,2,3...), one type of discrete derivative is defined by the forward difference operator Δp_n = p_n+1 - p_n for n=0,1,2,3,...  This satisfies discrete differentiation rules. One such rule is the power rule for falling powers (falling power rule). 🔴 Burden, Faires, Burden "Numerical Analysis": https://amzn.to/3DBvCWn
