DV-6110 - Jetting of grease

Dispensing grease, in a precise and reliable manner, is an important requirement in modern manufacturing processes. VIEWEG provides comprehensive equipment solutions to dispense and deliver the correct amount of grease. Some examples of applications to dispense grease could be: ball bearings, gears, electrical plug contacts applying “conductive grease” and other components or assemblies of machinery where heavy lubrication is required. The micro dispensing valve Model DV-6110 is a newly designed valve for contactless dispensing of grease and other types of fluids and pastes. In non-contact dispensing or “jetting”, a small drop or a short “jet” of the material is "jetted" at the component or substrate over a short distance in a free-flying manner. A fast-switching pneumatic system ensures high and precise acceleration of the valve tappet providing this action to “jet” the material. For larger deposit sizes at one location several small deposits can be added by cycling at high frequency (up to 250 single dots per second). This in turn enables small and exact quantities of material, such as grease, to be cleanly and precisely dispensed.
