Mt Vesuvius Near Naples, Italy

The volcano Mt. Vesuvius sits next to the Bay of Naples, Italy. Its massive eruption in 79 AD killed more than a thousand people and destruction of the Roman cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum, and several other settlements.

This video was shot with a handheld camera during several separate bus tours. Some shots also show the Bay of Naples.
