During your daily commute, you may have seen handy ‘Baby on Board’ lapel badges, worn by pregnant people on public transport, or even the ‘Please Offer Me A Seat’ equivalent for those who are neurodivergent, or have hidden conditions. But should those suffering from painful menstrual cramps and period symptoms be offered a similar badge so others can give them a seat when travelling? One social media user has set tongues wagging by saying she thinks they should. One of our panel can sympathise, having experienced debilitating period cramps herself, whereas another thinks it’s beyond ridiculous, and would prefer not to disclose when it’s their ‘time of the month’ to strangers.

From series 26, broadcast on 23/08/2022
