'Snowdonia Star' - Journey on the Welsh Highland Railway - 17th Sep 2022

This was the second time I have taken the journey from Caernarfon to Porthmadog & return on the wonderful Welsh Highland Railway. The last being in June 2018.
The Garratt that hauled us on this occasion was NG/G16 No.87.
The locomotive had a very squeaky cylinder valve!
The shots were all taken handheld & some filming on the journey are a little shaky.
I have included NG/G16 No.130 at Rhyd Ddu.
Plus Some Ffestiniog Railway locomotives: Blanche & David Lloyd George at Porthmadog.
The journey itself is a truly wonderful experience though Snowdonia.
Travelling 25 miles each way.
