Dental Visits for Kids

Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes at your child's dental visit? We thought so! And to celebrate Kid's Oral Health Month, we put together this little video to show a typical recare visit for kids at Horizon Dental!

While we always tailor the experience to each individual child, and all hygienists have their own method,  the steps are all the same:
1. Check-in
2. X-Rays (if needed)
3. Cleaning teeth - with ultrasonic and/or hand scaling
4. Polishing
5. Flossing
6. Dental Exam by the Dentist
7. Education!
8. Check-out
