काशीनाथ और इमली बचपन के दोस्त हैं और हर कोई उनसे शादी करने की उम्मीद करता है। फिर काशीनाथ की जिंदगी में आती है अमीर, अमीर और बीमार अंजलि चोपड़ा और फिर सब कुछ बदल जाता है। काशीनाथ की देखभाल के कारण अंजलि अपनी बीमारी छोड़ देती है और साहसी बन जाती है। अंजलि को काशीनाथ से प्यार हो जाता है और वह साहसपूर्वक अपने पिता मनमोहन चोपड़ा से कहती है कि वह केवल काशीनाथ से ही शादी करेगी। लेकिन वह चाहता है कि वह अजीत से शादी करे। इमली ने अपना रहस्य उजागर किया कि उसे दिल की बीमारी है और अगर इलाज नहीं किया गया तो वह मर जाएगी। अंजलि के प्यार से अनजान काशीनाथ को अपने सच्चे प्यार को बचाने के लिए पैसे ढूंढने होंगे। इसे हासिल करने के लिए उसे क्या बलिदान देना होगा?
