The Burgos Tapestry: A Study in Conservation

Conservators Tina Kane and Alice Blohm describe the more than thirty years of painstaking restoration that they, along with other members of the Met's Textile Conservation department staff, performed on this work of art, which is more than 25 feet wide and 13 feet high.
