Sitges is a popular beach town close to Barcelona. We came to Spain to spend the winter in a mild climate, to enjoy long walks and al fresco lunches in the sun - not really to find a place to settle down. Having lived in Spain before, we weren’t considering it for a longer term stay. But then we spent 3 weeks in Sitges Barcelona and we loved it - a LOT. Enough to say, why not settle down here for a few years? So, what about Sitges made us put Spain back on the list? And what surprising discovery made us take it back off again?
