Listen to a 20-minute recitation without translation, voiced by Qari Abdul Basit Misri, for seven consecutive days during morning, afternoon, or evening—or at any three convenient times for you. (Ensure not to skip any day; if rushed, take a one-day break and resume the seven-day cycle.) While listening, clear your mind of all thoughts, purify your heart, forgive everyone, pray for both friends and enemies, and rid your heart of hatred, jealousy, anger, and the desire for revenge. Feel remorseful for your sins and mistakes. Imagine yourself in the presence of Allah Almighty, receiving His mercy.
Additionally, hold half a glass of water (which you should have prepared beforehand), close your eyes again, and without uttering aloud, in your heart, repeat "Allah Allah Allah" three times with love. Drink the water in three breaths or sips, then open your eyes.
