We try to turn down the heat by installing a heat shield on the fuel rail, injectors, and manifold. This kit from DEI https://amzn.to/37wJEpn works for all 4.0 Jeep engines TJ, YJ, WJ, and XJ. This was supplied by the factory in 05-06 in order to cure heat soak, miss fire, rough idle, and heat from affecting the number 3 injector. This is the aftermarket kit one can purchase in order to prevent the problem. Watch as we install this kit on Goldy Lox the 2006 TJ.
