Easy Fish Burger

Servings: 4-6
Difficulty: Easy
Cooking time: 15 minutes
Prep time: 10 minutes

1 sea bass, 2 fillets skin off and cut into 8 pieces
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
1 red onion, sliced
3 pinches salt
1 pinch black pepper
9 tablespoons olive oil
1 pack of frozen potato chips, 400 g
½ pack of frozen garden peas, 200 g
16-20 leaves Yedikule (gem) lettuce
8 mini burger buns, halved

The Best Burger Sauce
10 sprigs thyme, leaves picked
1 pinch of salt
4 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 dried chili pepper, sliced
4-5 pickled gherkins, finely diced

• Rub onions with a pinch of salt to make them softer.
• Pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan, sauté the onions until they get caramelized.
• To make the sauce, put thyme leaves and salt in a mortar and crush them with pestle. Put mayonnaise quickly and mix it so that the thymes do not turn brown. Add dried chili pepper, pickled gherkins and mix them again. The best burger sauce in the world is ready! 😊
• Mix garden peas, 3 tablespoons of olive oil and a pinch of salt.
• Fry potato chips and seasoned garden peas at 200°C (392 °F) 15 minutes in air fryer. You can also use fresh sliced potatoes and boiled beans. If you don’t have an air fryer, fry them in the oven, in the upper and lower fan program.
• Toast buns in the pan where you caramelized the onions.
• To coat fish, add a pinch of salt and black pepper into flour and mix with breadcrumbs. Coat the fish with breadcrumb mixture and gently press on with fingertips.
• Pour 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a clean pan, fry both side of the fish until they get golden brown.
• It’s time to assemble the burgers! In order, put some caramelized onion over the bun bases, layer the fish, coat the lettuce leaves with sauce and layer them on fish and top the bun. Serve these beauties with chips and crunchy garden peas.
