Everyone here probably have known about one of Liszt's most famous operatic transcriptions back in the days - the "Valse Infernale", S.413 from Meyerbeer's opera (the first edition is said to be completely sold out right on the day it was published, and Liszt had to interrupt his recital to play it because the audience demanded), but never heard of a bar to bar transcription of the Cavatine part (which remains unpublished), catalogued as S.412a. Liszt (possibly) intended the Cavatine and the Valse Infernale to be played together so here I followed his intention!
