Fly Fishing Upstate PA, "LYCOMING CREEK", May 2021

Ok guys, finally able to make a trip to upstate PA, Mother Nature kept me home for almost a whole month. My first time to Lycoming Creek, conditions were NOT ideal, the water was cold, high, super clear and fast! My first two fish of the day were a big surprise, big banana palominos, HA! But then started to find fish while a small to moderate hatch of March Browns and caddis came off in the afternoon. A lot of fish caught on the swing because of emerging bugs, but that meant a lot of fish got off because of soft takes and setting the hook upstream.
