Winnipeg teen hockey star Carson Lambos, chosen second overall, was among three Winnipeggers from the same team selected in the Western Hockey League first-round draft Thursday.
The Kootenay Ice drafted Lambos. The 15-year-old, six-foot, 190-pound defenceman is currently the captain of the Bantam Prep team at Winnipeg's Rink Hockey Academy.
Goalie Tyler Brennan was picked 21st overall by the Prince George Cougars. He plays for the same team as Lambos and has registered a 1.52 goals against average, 0.946 save percentage and five shutouts this season.
