SMS Equipment Timmins grand opening

Canadian heavy equipment dealer SMS Equipment hosted a grand opening of its new 37,000 square foot Timmins branch on June 25. The new building at 4088 Highway 101 is larger than its previous location on Riverside Drive. With two heavy-duty welding bays, five service bays and a 100-ton heavy-lift capacity, it is designed to service a growing customer base in mining, construction and forestry. Minister of Mines George Pirie and Mattagami Chief Jennifer Constant both observed the investment is an indicator that Timmins is booming.
