Researchers from Duke-NUS Medical School
Researchers from Duke-NUS Medical School and the National Heart Centre Singapore have found a possible way to treat fatty liver disease, which affects about one in four worldwide and is common in Singapore.
Assistant Professor Sebastian Schäfer from Duke-NUS Medical School and the National Heart Centre Singapore was in the studio to explain the technicalities of the treatment in layman terms. Asst Prof Schäfer is also co-founder of Enleofen Bio, the biotech company that partnered researchers for the study.
