Siahkal is a place which you shouldn’t miss while you are visiting Iran and especially while you are in the northern part of Iran, Siahkal known as a hidden paradise of Iran.
Siahkal County is a county in Gilan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Siahkal. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 46,991, in 13,196 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Deylaman District. The county has two cities: Siahkal and Deylaman
The people of Siahkal are Gilak and speak the Gilak language
Siahkal is one of the cities with good climate in Gilan province and also has pristine nature.
It consists of almost three areas, which include the alluvial area, which is the result of the mud that the rivers brought with them, as well as the sediments of the sea in ancient times, and the very beautiful foothills area with its abundant beech forests, and also the mountainous area, which is dry for half of the year. There is usually snow in it too.
