Troye Sivan accepts GLAAD’s Stephen
Troye Sivan accepts GLAAD’s Stephen F. Kolzak Award at the 28th annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles on April 1. His powerful acceptance speech resonated with all who heard it as Sivan honored LGBTQ activists like Bayard Rustin, Edie Winsor, and Marsha P. Johnson and left the audience with the empowering words: “don't let anyone strip you of your truth and love because those are the foundations of who we are as a community." Carly Rae Jepsen and Justin Tranter presented.
