The Temptations are a vocal group from Detroit who have had successful songs mainly during the 1960's & 1970's. Many of the group members were
singing in other groups in the early 50's before coming together in 1961. The original line up included Elbridge Al Bryant, Otis Williams, Eddie Kendricks, Paul Williams & Melvin Franklin, other notable names include David Ruffin and Dennis Edwards.
The two longest serving member are Melvin Franklin up until 1993/94 and Otis Williams who is still a member today. There signature song is 'My Girl' co written by Smokey Robinson from 1964 with David Ruffin on lead vocals
This track originally comes from the 1998 album 'Phoenix Rising'
