In this video, let's take a look at the difference between Finally & Eventually! The core difference is as follows

Finally: After a very long time
Eventually: Bound to happen or inevitable

It can be a little difficult to understand. However, it's simpler than you think.

Welcome to Speak Natural English my friends, it's Aziz here again today I want to talk about finally and eventually both of them mean after a very long time but there is a subtle difference. So let me explain.

Alright so, let's begin with eventually. Which basically means sooner or later. Here are a few examples to clarify this. Eventually, we all will drive electric cars. Eventually, we will live on Mars. Now in both examples, we know that we're going to drive electric cars and live on Mars. Just how long it'll take? We don't know. But we know that sooner or later it will happen. So, eventually, both of these events will happen.

Okay so, now let's jump into finally. Finally, basically means after a very long time or after long delays. Let me give you an example. Our flight was delayed for hours but finally, we arrived at our destination. This means that you were supposed to arrive at your destination long before but you finally arrived after long delays.

Finally is also used to express a "long period of time". For example, the New Horizons spacecraft was launched in 2006 and it finally arrived at Pluto in 2016. Here, there is a very long period of wait. Approximately 10 years before the spacecraft to arrive.

So in short guys, eventually is an action that is inevitable in the future and finally just means after a "long period of time". So be careful when you use finally and eventually.
