This is the brief history of Mianwali.The city has an airport built near the old World War II aerodrome and known as PAF Base Mianwali. It is one of the major operational bases of the country..Distret mianly contains nuclear ad hydro power plant,beautiful kalabagh dam location,salt range,jinnah barrage,namal lake,namal university,enriched with uranium,coal,salt etc.The district has been settled by triple immigration from opposite directions: Niazis from the northwest of Pakistan, Awans from the northeast, and Jats and Balochs up the valley of the Indus from the south.This show was onaired on 14th of August 2011 on GEO.
