Determination of Viscosity Co-efficient of given organic liquid using Ostwald's Viscometer:
By finding the time taken for the liquid and water(tL and tw) to travel through certain distance in the Viscometer and knowing the density of liquid, water(dL and dw ) and viscosity of water(ⴄw ) at that temperature, the viscosity coefficient of given organic liquid is determined
ⴄL = tL x dL x ⴄw / dL x dw
