Tokyo has a fine railway network, so you can easily access anywhere.
Why do not you use them to go to places that are not sightseeing spots?
Get off at a station you haven't visited yet, walk through unknown towns and discover new things.

About Asakusa area.
It retains the atmosphere of old Tokyo, with traditional handicrafts and food stalls along Nakamise Street near the historic Sensoji Temple. The Hanayashiki Amusement Park, built in the mid-19th century, has thrilling rides and cafés, and the riverside Sumida Park regularly hosts festivals and fireworks. Nearby there are casual izakayas, and there is also a yakitori restaurant serving skewered meat and beer.
