It's time for some DSLR
It's time for some DSLR astrophotography in the backyard. In this video I photograph the beautiful Rosette Nebula in Monoceros with my Camera and Telescope.
The Rosette Nebula contains a striking open star cluster in the center, catalogued NGC 2244. This nebula is a large cloud of interstellar gas that graces our northern hemisphere skies every winter.
I'll use my William Optics FLT 132 Refractor telescope with a Canon DSLR camera to capture some long exposure images on an Equatorial Mount. The images will then be stacked together and processed in Adobe Photoshop.
