If you're getting the dreaded RSS error on WordPress that goes something along the lines of:
"Error Line 2 at column 6: XML declaration allowed only at the start of the document"
If you're getting that, don't worry. There are several potential solutions for you.
The first is to follow this video, get the required file that fixes things, install it by following the instructions and then being happy when it works!
If that doesn't work though, then there are deeper issues with your WordPress setup. Another potential solution is to reset your permalinks and clear cache on your browser and WP install. If that fails, try disabling ALL your plugins, clear caches and see if it works. If it does, then you know the error was caused by a plugin. So start by re-enabling the plugins one by one. If that doesn't work, then the most likely issue is a content problem.
"Content problem?! What's that" you ask ... well, it's not an easy answer. The short of it is: some piece of content on your website is messing things up. Try starting at the latest posts and working backwards to each them for any strange characters, shady dealings and under the table bets ... wait, wrong story: check for any strange characters (letters, numbers, strange spaces or unfamiliar looking pieces of text).
Failing that .... there are two unhappy options: some server issue (try asking your web host) and/or trying the 'nuclear option' (start from scratch and rebuild).
