An ex-animal hospital worker in Atlanta is accused of stealing 177 Tramadol pills from the South Forsyth Animal Hospital. Tramadol is a low-dose opioid medication often prescribed for those in moderate to severe pain. Common side effects include extreme dizziness, headache, constipation, anxiety, drowsiness, weakness, slow heartbeat or clammy skin.


Police: Medical workers stole patient info for narcotic prescriptions

Three people are facing charges related to exploiting disabled people and pets for narcotic pain prescriptions, Cherokee County officials said Wednesday.

Shelby Oryan Scoville of Woodstock was the latest arrest in a monthslong investigation by the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad.

She was originally arrested Jan. 3 on violation of probation charges out of Holly Springs. The charges related to drugs were added two days later, officials said.
