In this video, we're featuring a 2019 Mercedes Sprinter Van with new LED strobe lights installed by Wicked Warnings. The LED strobe lights on this van were completed to the customer's specifications with most of the warning lights to the rear of the vehicle. Rear warning is the priority, though we've also added some LED strobe lights in the front of the van.
In the front of this vehicle, you can see our Thin-X TIR series LED strobe light in an amber split pattern. We've mounted two of the Thin-X strobes in the top of the grille, right under the hood lip. We've also added 2 of our TIR-3 LED strobe lights in an amber double flash pattern along the front door panels in front of the mirrors.
On the roof of the van, we've permanent mounted a Whelen Mini LED Bar towards the rear and added two of our LED HAW DUO LD (Low Dome) version LED strobe lights. The hideaways are mounted within the taillights and the turn signal locations and we've created an X-pattern with the red and amber LED HAW DUO's. You will notice that whether the back doors are opened all the way or closed, all of the rear LED strobe lights remain visible. The light bar on the roof is intended to warn taller vehicles and longer distances on the road. The hideaways are primarily used for warning lower traffic.
We've installed a 3/4" Flush Mount Rocker Switch in the dashboard to control all of the LED strobe lights on this Sprinter van.
The interior of the van was completely Line-X'd and will receive a build-out for work on the road. **This is for in-shop installation only and will not be included in the kit for this build.
