Hello everyone!
Pualo/Pulau is one of the most popular Nepali rice dishes served during marriages, picnic and festivals in Nepal. The most important reason behind it is that it goes well with all types of meat and vegetable curry. It is easy to make and delicious to eat. If you want to make such Pulao that smells so good and taste amazing, then you are at the right place. Watch the video til the end and follow the instructions. You will be delighted to see the result.

If you follow this recipe step by step, you will be able to make fluffy, soft and delicious Pulao. I forgot to mention in the video that if you are making it in the pressure cooker, cook it until two whistles and let it cool down for 15 minutes before you open the lid.

Add salt and sugar after you put water in the Pulao.

Ingredients

400 gm Long grain basmati rice
600 ml water
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon ghee
1 cup green peas
1 cup carrots in cubes
1 big onion
Handful of cashew
Handful of Almonds
1 black cardamom
4 green cardamom
2 bay leaves
a small piece of cinnamon
a small piece of Javitri

sprinkle of rose water (optional)
a handful of pomegranate seeds (optional)
