13 of the 27 books in the New Testament were attributed to Paul and bear his name. But the great majority of scholars believe that only seven of these thirteen letters were almost certainly written by Paul. You see them on the screen: Romans, 1 and 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Philippians, 1 Thessalonians, and Philemon. Colossians, 2 Thessalonians and Ephesians are possibly written by Paul's followers after his death. The three of the remaining letters, 1 and 2nd Timothy, and Titus are pseudepigrapha. Most critical scholars think it was written by some follower of Paul long after his death but published in his name. (see Borg & Crossan 2009, 14; Martin 2012, 202-203).
What letters did Paul actually write? Only 7 of the 13 letters of Apostle Paul were written by him? #new_testament #pauls_letters #shorts
