We built a fort in the woods

What does it take to build a bushcraft camp in the woods?  I teamed up with the Wooded Beardsman and our friend Rob to build an open-front log fort with vertical log walls, a horizontal log back, a suspended sleeping platform, and an angled roof.  We add a firepit and cook a snowshoe hare and some rainbow trout over open flames.  This is a two-day build project.
