- Seaming - (Figure 8 join and Mattress Stitch)

Using Mattress Stitch starting with the figure 8 is a method of seaming 2 knitted pieces together.

It is a very useful technique for vertical seaming in Stockinette Stitch and Ribbing.
In this video, I am using the yarn in a contrasting color for demonstration purposes, but you should use what matches the color of your project.
