মৌলভীবাজার জেলার কমলগঞ্জ উপজেলার তিলোকপুর গ্রামে প্রথমবারের মত গ্রাফটিং  পদ্ধতিতে টমেটো চাষের  সম্পর্কে অবহিত করেন স্থানীয় কৃষি বিভাগের সাবেক কর্মকর্তা সুরেন্দ্রকুমাড়। গ্রাফটিং পদ্ধতিতে টমেটোর চাষাবাদে  মূলত তিনটি সুবিধা ১) ঢলেপড়া রোগ হয়না, ২) গাছ বেশি দিন টিকে থাকে, এবং ৩) প্রচুর ফল দেয় গাছ। তিলক পুর গ্রামে এখন দুই থেকে প্রায় অাড়াই হাজার টমেটো চাষী অাছে। এই পদ্ধতিতে টমেটোর চাষ করে তারা প্রত্যেকেই বেশ লাভবান হচ্ছেন ।
